#30 CARLOS HARWELL
Williams Freshman
RB
Carlos is the younger of three siblings. His older brother, Lyndell Johnson is a Junior at Plano East and the starting Safety on the varsity team and already a Division 1 recruit. His older sister, Sharae, also a Junior at Plano East one of the trainers for the East football teams. As you can imagine, it is very competitive within the family and Carlos has always been on top throughout his years. Carlos has played almost every sport out there but may stick to just football in high school as he has started to get more involved in boxing and wants to compete regularly. During the end of last season, Carlos suffered a torn ACL in a game that required surgery to repair. After a long rehab over the off season, Carlos is back and running stronger than ever. He is expected to be a major contributor for the next four years at East and have some big shoes to fill that his brother Lyndell wears right now. One goal Carlos has is to be on the same team as his brother which he has never been able to do before...with a little more hard work, he may just get his chance next year when he is a Sophomore and Lyndell is a Senior. |
